Ladino Clover Seed For Pastures
Ladino clover Seed produces a clover that has a larger leaf that is higher in forage yield and quality than the smaller or intermediate clover varieties. Ladino clover is a perennial legume species whose numerous runners take root in wetter or hardpan type soils and can live from 3 to 5 years. This is an ideal clover for livestock pastures or to attract wildlife to food plots.
Ladino clovers provide a highly digestible, protein enriched feed that does well under heavy grazing. Usually planted with grasses in pastures or food plots, Ladino Clover improves the productivity and nutritional value of the grass by making up to 250 pounds of nitrogen per acre per year available for the companion grasses. Tall fescue, perennial ryegrass and orchard grass are a few of the companion grasses that are planted with Ladino Clover Seed.
